Angela Menchise<\/strong>is a biologist and artist with a focus on the abstract and a world that seeks to be undefined in form yet attentive to detail in colour. She participates in numerous solo and group exhibitions: in Potenza, at the Palazzo della Cultura e del Turismo, she presents a dialogue between abstract and softened figurative elements using a palette knife and acrylics on canvas; in Matera, at Fideuram Bank, with “The Confrontation Between the Two Suns”; also in Matera with ModArt, as part of Felicia Curci’s project “Women in Transformation” at Palazzo Malvezzi Malvinni; and in Milan, the group exhibition “From Venus to Bacchus” at Galleria M.A.C. Her work is textural, immersing itself in shades of blue and yellow \u2013 the colour of joy, warmth, and life \u2013 which reflects with gold and ochre when the canvas is illuminated by a floor lamp in the late afternoon.
